Bike is back and sounds amazing only thing left to do is the doohickey, is doc the only one that supply this thing??

Talk to Groenie on the forum - I believe he has stock (and can do the install) and if he can't help he will know who else can.

I have no first hand experience or proof, but I've heard that Doc sells a generic doo, which is inferior to the original Eagle Mike product.

Since your bike is a higher mileage bike you might want to inspect the balancer chain as well. The reason we do the doo is because it prolongs the balancer chain life.

If your doo has not been done, then the chain might well be past its service limit.

My original doo (2008 KLR new shape) is still good after ± 100 000 km. Inspected it last weekend. Did only change the doo spring about 80 000km ago as the original spring was to long. So why do you want to change the doo?
