Very possible.
Remove, strip, clean and grease.

Bearings is cheap en dis 'n redelik maklike job om te vervang. Doen sommer voor en agter. Kry double sealed bearings by 'n goeie shop soos BMG of SKF, nie cheap chinkie chonk stront nie

Thank everyone

I will definitely look at the speedo, did notice a slight twitch in the needle.

The brake calipers were serviced 2 months ago, but will check them again.

And I will go get some bearings from BMG tomorrow morning for just in case as well.

Hi all

Just some feedback on this. Finally had some time this weekend to see what is going on.

I check the brakes. Everything is fine there.

Checked the bearings. Both wheels seemed fine and it already had sealed bearings so I suspect the previous owner replaced them at some stage, although it was at least 18 000 km ago. I anyway replaced the front wheel's bearings and will do the rear as well.

Checked the speedo. Could not see any damage yet, but it was a bit dry. Packed it with a lot of grease and put it back together.

Took it for a short test drive and the noise is gone. So hopefully it was just a dry speedo.

Thank you for everyone's input and Paul who helped me with getting the bearings.
