Last night when driving home my bike started make an awful noise. Sounded like a car's screeching fan belt with maybe a bit of grinding thrown into the mix.

The noise disappeared when I stopped, and I decided since it does not seem to be the engine that I will risk riding it home. Luckily it was only about 1 km so I took it very slow which also seemed to reduce the noise by a lot.

Does it sound like wheel bearings? I will start investigating on Saturday, but want to ask beforehand if there is any funnies to look out for?

of net wanneer jy beweeg?

Ander vraag... koop mens sommer n paar SKS bearings by die naaste Bearingman?
