Guys,

Looks like my trip is off. Have to fly out for a couple of months.
Whats the best way to store the bike for a couple of months...more than two?

remove battery and recharge later?
close petrol cock, run engine dry?
Or close and leave carb topped up with fuel against the pet-cock diaphragm?

Worried the pet-cock diaphragm will perish.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Take the bike for a ride so everything is nice and warm, fill up fuel tank just before stopping, prevents rust in tank, when at home turn off fuel tap and allow bike to idle till it dies.
Disconnect negative terminal on battery no need to remove battery.
Park your bike, maybe inflate the tyres a bit harder.
