My bike turned over to 60 000km this morning. For some reason 60k felt like a special milestone to reach.

Lekker! Myne het laasweek Maandag (my eerste rit vir 2016) oorgeslaan na 70 000km toe - so asof sy my 'n voorspoedige nuwejaar toewens! ;)

Dis vreemd dat so iets eenvoudigs mens so opgewonde kan maak!

Sorry to hear that, Adler.

My biggest repair bill was the replacing of the top sprocket of the balancer chain. For some reason it lost all its teeth. 12 000km since then without any trouble.

Hi Also had the balance weight bearing issue in a new shape. Its funny that I do not see this reported much on the Foreign Forums or KLR650 Facebook page?

I am gonna post and find out if this is a world wide thing or just in SA.

It was just the sprocket that failed. The bearing seemed ok. New balancer chain fitted as a precaution, and of course a new top sprocket.
